geso Stock: supplier invoices, ingredient stock and recipe costing for restaurants and cafés
Snap the invoice,

Take a photo of a supplier invoice or upload the PDF. Line items match your ingredients and your stock updates. Enter a recipe once and see the portion cost and margin of every dish.
No card required · 100 photo or PDF invoices a month included
| Dish | Price | Portion | Margin |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic burger | $14.50 | $4.45 | 66% |
| Latte | $4.20 | $0.70 | 82% |
| Menemen | $8.50 | $0.75 | 90% |
Margin on the price excluding VAT.
However the invoice arrives, hand it over.
A paper invoice or a PDF from your inbox: both land on the same review screen.
Photo
Snap it with your phone; add a multi-page invoice page by page. AI reads the supplier, date, line items, quantities and prices.
Upload the invoice that came by email. Same reading, same review.
You approve first
Every invoice lands on a review screen. Check the lines and approve; nothing touches your stock until you do.
100 photo or PDF invoices a month included.
“BUTTER BLOCK UNSALTED” on the invoice, Butter in your stock.
Your supplier's names, pack sizes and units never quite match yours. geso Stock translates between the two.
Match once
A line name is linked to your ingredient, and the same name matches by itself on the next invoice. For names it hasn't seen before, AI suggests a match and you confirm.
Unit conversion
Stock is kept in grams, millilitres or pieces. 5 KG on the invoice goes in as 5,000 g; “2 cases 12x1 L” becomes 24,000 ml.
Weighted average cost
Each new purchase is averaged with the stock you already hold, by quantity. Your cost doesn't jump with the last invoice; it stays close to reality.
Ingredients, recipes, suppliers: all in one place.
Ingredients
What you hold of every ingredient, and what it's worth. Correct the difference when you count, and write off spills and spoilage as waste. Anything below its alert level stands out on the overview.
Recipes
Enter the ingredients and quantities for a dish once, and add waste as a percentage. Portion cost updates itself from the average cost; the dish with the lowest margin sits at the top.
| Dish | Price | Portion | Margin |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic burger | $14.50 | $4.45 | 66% |
| Latte | $4.20 | $0.70 | 82% |
| Menemen | $8.50 | $0.75 | 90% |
Margin on the price excluding VAT.
Suppliers
Who you bought from, what you paid, and how each ingredient's price moved from invoice to invoice. You get an alert when a price rises more than 10%.
Sold at the till, taken out of stock.
If you use the looply POS, the ingredients in each dish's recipe come out of stock by themselves as it sells. Purchases come in from invoices, usage goes out through the till, and stock stays current between counts.
Not on looply? geso Stock works on its own; you keep usage up to date with counts and waste.

Questions about geso Stock.
Which invoices can it read?
A photo of a paper invoice (multi-page works too) or a PDF. AI reads the supplier, date, line items, quantities and prices.
What if the AI misreads something?
Every invoice goes to a review screen first. Fix a quantity, a price or a match, then add it to stock. If an invoice went in wrong, you can reverse it.
How many invoices are included?
100 photo or PDF invoices a month.
How is margin calculated?
Portion cost comes from the quantity of each ingredient in the recipe (including its waste allowance) at its weighted average cost. Margin is shown on the selling price excluding VAT.
I don't use looply. Is it still useful?
Yes. geso Stock works on its own: purchases come in from invoices, recipes give you cost and margin, and you keep usage up to date with counts and waste. Add the looply POS and sold items come out of stock by themselves.
How does the trial work?
Everything in geso Stock is open for 30 days and we don't ask for a card. If you want to carry on afterwards, it's $99 a month, excluding VAT.
